The AR-218 PRO is a passive dual 18-inch subwoofer built on LAVOCE Italian transducers, using an internally folded horn load rather than a conventional bass-reflex enclosure. At the same amplifier input power, horn loading converts a materially higher proportion of electrical energy into acoustic output — which is why the AR-218 PRO reaches 148 dB peak from 3,600 W AES.
